Did you know that Bartolomé Bermejo was the greatest painter of 15th-century Spain? There are fewer than 20 known works by him and the National Gallery has gathered 7 of these rare works in a unique exhibition.

Join us on Sunday 18th August to discover more about this master of colours and textures, and have glimpse on Spain’s 15th-century fascinating history, from Reconquista to Inquisición.

We’ll meet on Sunday 18th August at 3pm at the National Gallery Getty Entrance (Trafalgar Square). The visit will be led in Spanish by our amazing Spanish teacher and Art Historian, Victoria. All levels of Spanish are welcome. You’ll be provided with a vocabulary list in advance.

Be impressed by the movement that stirred up the art scene of late 19th century France and changed the course of painting forever. We will delve into the works of the most renowned painters in the history of Art: Monet, Renoir, Degas, Pissarro, Manet… In this workshop, we will explore why Impressionism was considered outrageous in its time, and will discuss why it is one of the most popular and well-known styles still today.

We will meet on Saturday 26th November 2022 at 11am at the Sainsbury Wing entrance of the National Gallery (Trafalgar Square, London WC2N 5DN). Look for the Spanish House London logo. Recommended level of Spanish: A2 or above. To cater for everyone, please type your level of Spanish in the order comments box at checkout. You will receive a list of vocabulary a few days before the tour.
