Did you know that Bartolomé Bermejo was the greatest painter of 15th-century Spain? There are fewer than 20 known works by him and the National Gallery has gathered 7 of these rare works in a unique exhibition.

Join us on Sunday 18th August to discover more about this master of colours and textures, and have glimpse on Spain’s 15th-century fascinating history, from Reconquista to Inquisición.

We’ll meet on Sunday 18th August at 3pm at the National Gallery Getty Entrance (Trafalgar Square). The visit will be led in Spanish by our amazing Spanish teacher and Art Historian, Victoria. All levels of Spanish are welcome. You’ll be provided with a vocabulary list in advance.

We might be physically distant, but we are not isolated.

At Spanish House London we have adapted to bring our students the best Spanish lessons via Zoom.

And we will also use Zoom to meet up with our Spanish Conversation Evening attendees. Let's socialise and chat in Spanish as usual. We all need to stay connected and see each others' friendly faces!

To allow for manageable conversations and to guarantee enough time for everyone to speak, we will create small groups of 3 or 4 participants. Please type B (Beginner), I (Intermediate) or A (Advanced) beside your name when you launch Zoom. That way you will be linked with participants of your same level.

To keep up the words flowing and the socialising going, we will mix up the groups regularly throughout the evening. You will be chatting with everyone, same as in our usual physical meet ups!

Sign up to join us on Wednesday 29th April between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. Apart from your booking confirmation, you will receive the link to join us on Zoom in a separate email.
