Last weekend the first Spanish Book Fair took place in London. A variety of Spanish and Latin American exhibitors, from magazines to bookshop stands, settled in the crypt of St Peters church. They did not arrive alone: a rich programme of talks, workshops, discussions with the authors, poetry open mic and storytelling unfolded nonstop during the two days of the fair. The London Spanish Book and Zine Fair is the first fair of its kind in the United Kingdom showcasing books and fanzines in Spanish.
