Spanish teacher Clara

Clara

¡Hola a todos! My name is Clara and I am from the beautiful, but very hot, city of Córdoba, in the south of Spain.

After my academic studies in Humanities and Anthropology in Spain, I discovered my passion for teaching Spanish almost by chance and since then, that’s all I want to do. I also have formal education  in “Teaching Spanish as a new language to migrants” (2016) and “Teaching Spanish as a foreign language” (2017).

I know that learning a new language can be a challenge in many ways, that’s why I always try to create a relaxed and positive atmosphere in the classroom and to follow the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach to allow the students to develop communicative abilities during the lessons and in their daily life too. Additionally, I love creating new materials or activities based on the students learning attitude, to better support them.

In my free time you can find me reading, drawing, exploring new places, swimming and cooking or eating tapas, of course!
