Spanish teacher Eva

Eva

Hola, ¿qué tal?

My name is Eva. Born and bred in charming and sunny Cáceres, a medieval town in western central Spain, I moved to London 4 years ago. Living in a foreign country awoke my passion for teaching my language and culture, and I decided to obtain my qualification as a Spanish Language Teacher for Adults (CLTA). Whilst intense, I truly loved the training period to obtain my qualification, as it enabled me to discover several teaching methods and techniques. Although my teaching style is based on the communicative and action-oriented approach, I like to combine different methodologies depending on the requirements of each student.

I have a fun and bubbly personality that I bring to the classroom to make my lessons enjoyable. I also think it is crucial to encourage students to interact and communicate during the lessons, for them to gain confidence speaking. Since I am a Spanish teacher at Spanish House London, I have had the chance to meet wonderful people and witness their improvement from being complete beginners in Spanish to proficient users of the language. Not only do I teach groups, but also many private students, with whom I like to focus on their individual needs, learning styles and preferences.

When I am not teaching, I love to discover all the wonderful landscapes, towns and beaches of England.

¡Nos vemos pronto!
